Starting Anew!

I have many goals as we are coming into the new year. I want to stay organized, track how much I save with coupons, be sure to only buy what my family needs, and offer at least one coupon class for friends and family who are interested.

To start off my new organizational kick, I made a Household Notebook Apparently, there are tons of moms out there just like me who are struggling to keep up with the daily life of mothering and housekeeping! There are great printables all over the web. I started with a Weekly Menu. I didn't get all crazy right away mainly because I am not sure how to organize my life the best. So I only printed one weekly menu form. I have filled it out and I am ready to get what I need at the store tomorrow to make my meals for the week. I really like this particular form because it has a grocery list right next to it. My only complaint are that the lines are a bit small for all the items included in the meals.

The next form in my household notebook is my "daily docket." I found a great one on at simplemom.net. In my Daily Docket I have planned out what my day will look like. I will fill out a new daily docket every night before I go to sleep to help me stay on track with my new organized lifestyle. I have planned out the hours from 7:30am to 3:30pm. Those will be my focused "work" hours.

Next, my monthly calendar. I will do my best to keep all of our appointments in one place, rather than here are there.

Finally, I have made a chart of daily, weekly, and feeling saucy tasks for the household responsibilities. Each day I will try to accomplish at least two of the three tasks!

My goals for the rest of this month are:
To figure out how to best organize my family in the new year
To make quality "me" time
To be more organized (and have a company ready house)
To actually finish what I start
